Debate For All Vietnam — English debate education

Think deeper.
Speak with confidence.Change the world.

English debate education for students who want to think beyond the classroom — from a first debate to the international stage.

Classes are built on 3-on-3 parliamentary formats — World Schools (WSDC) and Asian Parliamentary — and our coaches also train British Parliamentary, Public Forum, impromptu speaking, and interpretive reading.

Find your debate journey

Pick the sentence that sounds most like your child. We'll show you where they'd start.

One roadmap, every stage

Every DFAV student climbs the same ladder: learn the fundamentals, apply them to real issues, sharpen them under pressure — and, for those who want it, compete. Choose your child's age group, then select a level.

Two cycles per level

Foundations, Intermediate, and Advanced each run as Cycle A and Cycle B. Both teach the same skills with different motions and current-affairs themes — so students build confidence over two cycles without repeating content.

Moving up is a coach's call

Each level ends with a clear goalpost. Coaches recommend the next step based on progress, and students can always repeat a level with a new topic set to build mastery first.

Competition Prep is ongoing

It isn't a fixed set of lessons. It trains through the term around actual domestic and international tournaments, and students join once a coach confirms they're ready.

Not sure which level fits?New to debate? Start with Foundations at any age. Debated before? A short placement conversation with a coach will confirm the right level.

Why debate?

Debate builds more than speeches. It builds leaders.

Instead of memorizing facts, students learn to build an argument, listen to the other side, and answer with structure and confidence.

Finding your child's place on the roadmap

Questions parents often ask. Still unsure? Talk to your child's coach or reach out to our team.

How do I know which level my child should start in?

If your child has never debated before, Foundations is the right starting point at any age. If they have some experience — through school, another program, or a previous DFAV cycle — a quick placement conversation with a coach will confirm the right level.

Do we need to complete both Cycle A and Cycle B before moving up?

We recommend it. A and B cover the same skill tier with different topics, so completing both gives your child the practice they need to move up with real confidence — though a coach may recommend otherwise based on individual progress.

What if my child isn't ready to move up yet?

That's completely normal, and not a setback. Students can repeat a level with a new topic set to build mastery before advancing — the roadmap is designed to support that.

How do we find out if our child is ready for Competition Prep or HS Varsity (Honors)?

Both are coach-driven decisions based on consistent effort and performance through the cycle. Your child's coach will raise it with you directly when the time comes — but you're always welcome to ask.

Ready to start your journey?

Tell us a little about your child and we'll recommend the right level and next class. Every enquiry goes straight to the DFAV team.

  • New to debate? We'll start you at Foundations.
  • Debated before? We'll set up a short placement chat with a coach.
